Libraries as Third Places for Play and Literacy

This talk explores the library as a third place in young people’s lives and its role in supporting and guiding them in a media-rich everyday life. With a focus on young people’s use of digital and technological media, the presentation highlights libraries as important arenas for play, participation, and literacy, where learning and creativity unfold across physical and digital spaces.
