The Europe Challenge

This final KnowHow Lab session will explore how libraries can create the conditions for everyone to feel welcomed, valued and able to participate fully, looking at diversity in its widest sense rather than focusing on specific groups. Most importantly, we hope you will leave the session with simple, practical ideas that you can take back to your own library and put into practice straight away.

And this time, we have not one, not two, but three very special guests joining us!

Dima Karout 

Dima is a senior arts and communications professional, creative health and knowledge-sharing expert, with more than 15 years’ experience working at the intersection of artistic practice, public policy and social change. Her work spans socially engaged art, cultural placemaking, innovative learning and collective resilience.

Sahra Hersi 

Sahra is an artist and designer trained in architecture, whose work moves across public space, objects and print. Her practice explores the relationship between people and place.

Andreas Plemmenos 

Andreas is a dramatist, author and Deaf Artist Signer, holding a Master’s degree in Special Education, Information and Communication Technologies. His practice spans digital art and performance.
