Get ready to dive into practical, hands-on learning tailored to the real challenges you face in your projects! Starting in January 2026, four interactive sessions will explore priority topics chosen by you and your fellow participants. Four KnowHow Lab Sessions will be held, and each Challenge team is expected to attend at least two:

Know How Lab 1 - Leadership with Care | 21 January 2026, 11:00-12:30 CET

This lab explores what mindful leadership looks like in everyday work and how to manage a team with care and clarity. We focus on practical models of leadership and easy-to-use tools for creating a shared vision for your project. Care is especially important for organisations like libraries and community groups. It grows from trust, open communication, and healthy working relationships. In this Know-How Lab, we will look at real case studies that show how good leadership directly supports the success of a project.

Participants will learn how to motivate their team and their wider community, how to foster collaboration, and how to look after and nurture both people and projects for long-term impact.

Know How Lab 2 - Think like Generation Alpha | 18 March 2026, 11:00-12:30 CET

Learn how to share your library or community project’s story in a clear, engaging, and meaningful way. This workshop shows you how to create posts that connect with people, highlight your impact, and build trust.

Participants will learn how to tell an authentic story, create engaging posts, reach and inspire their community, show their impact, build a sense of belonging online, and attract younger audiences through platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Know How Lab 3 – Greening Your Library | 15 April 2026, 11:00-12:30 CET

This lab shares practical ways to make libraries more environmentally friendly. We look at the basics of reduce, reuse, and recycle, and how to bring climate action into library activities. Participants explore creative ideas to raise environmental awareness, involve their communities, and turn libraries into green, sustainable spaces.

Participants will learn how to use simple, practical steps to make their library greener, engage their community, and support everyday climate action.

Know How Lab 4 – My Library is for Everyone | 9 September 2026, 11:00-12:30 CET

This session looks at small, practical changes that can make a big difference in creating an accessible and welcoming library for people with disabilities and those from minority communities. We will discuss easy adjustments to spaces, communication, and daily practices that help everyone feel included, respected, and able to fully participate in library life. Participants will leave with clear ideas they can start using right away.

Participants explore simple steps that help create an inclusive space where everyone feels they belong

Each session features expert talks, inspiring ignite presentations by alumni of The Europe Challenge, and lively group discussions designed to spark new ideas and share valuable know-how. These labs are your chance to connect, learn, and grow with peers across Europe—building skills that go beyond the core Challenge modules to make your projects even stronger.
