If you are familiar with The Europe Challenge, you likely already know about the main offerings of the programme. In short, we empower librarians to drive meaningful, positive change in their local communities by providing the training and support they need to implement initiatives that address urgent democratic, social, green, and digital challenges facing Europe.
Perhaps you’ve heard some of the inspiring library workers’ stories in person at the If Librarians Ran Europe summit in Amsterdam in September 2024. Or maybe you’ve read about their initiatives in our new publication How Libraries Thrive – A Guide for Librarians… and Everyone Else in Europe.
Now, you can take it a step further – click here to hear directly from the libraries and communities involved in The Europe Challenge, as they share their stories of how the initiatives have made a real local difference.
