Museums as Places of Experimentation, with Hannah Fox
Our first KnowHow Lab, held by our partner Comicdom, brought together librarians and community organisers in a shared online space to connect, learn, and support one another—especially those working alongside underserved communities and people from minority backgrounds.
Together, we explored what mindful leadership looks like in everyday practice and how to lead teams with care, clarity, and intention.
We worked with practical leadership models and simple, easy-to-use tools that help create a shared vision for projects and organisations. Because for libraries and community groups, care is not optional—it is central to how we lead, collaborate, and build trust.
Our guest speaker, Hannah Fox, Director of The Bowes Museum, who spoke about the value of experimentation and how to foster empathy, curiosity, and collaboration skills within our teams.
KnowHow Labs are growing into a supportive peer space where experience, challenges, and ideas are welcomed with openness and generosity.
